Welcome to Astrotherapy

Hello. My name is William Tuma, and I am an astrologer. I have been practicing my craft for the past 25 years. The death of my sister in 1978 started me on a journey to seek the Universal Truth. It is a journey that I am still on today. Upon her passing I asked the question that all grieving loved ones ask - “Why” I started visiting psychics in search of an answer. Some were nothing but charlatans while a few blew me away with their perception and knowledge of intimate facts about my sister and I.

I started reading everything I could get my hands on about death and the afterlife. I was raised Roman Catholic, but soon developed a belief system that grew out of the knowledge I had gained.

Soon after I found myself taking a course in reading of the Tarot. This led to my continuing my education through a course in astrology. This course had a profound effect on me. Not only did I fall in love with astrology, it came so natural to me, that it convinced me that I had knowledge of the subject in a previous lifetime.

The next step I took, after I had amassed a good amount of knowledge, was to do astrology readings on a professional level. I did not like charging people for the information I had, but my time and energy was worth something and I had to pay the bills.

Besides counseling my clientele I also lectured throughout the country, wrote for national publications, like Llewellyn Publishing, and taught astrology classes. I even had a periodical, called The Rising Sun Digest, which was published monthly.

I did all of this for a number of years until my daughter was born. When she came along in 1992, I decided I needed a steady source of income. I quit astrology and joined the mainstream with a regular 9 to 5 gig.

As she was growing up I ended up a few varied hats. One of my jobs was working for a local alcohol / drug rehabilitation center. While I was there I wash able to take classes in not only drug and alcohol abuse, but in psychological counseling. One of my jobs was to counsel those who not only had abuse problems, they had psychological problems as well.

Recently I have decided that I need to go back to my first love, astrology. Since I have had experiences in pyschological counseling, I decided to combine astrology with therapeutic techniques. By doing so I can help my clients become better people by tackling the underlying root of any problem they may have.
